Understand Your Grief

Hi! I’m Rashida.

I’m your Chief Griefologist—a therapist-in-training, podcast host, and a mom who knows firsthand that grief is messy, unpredictable, and full of WTF moments. I lost my mom at 15, and ever since, I’ve been on a mission to make grief less isolating and more understood.

That’s why I created Griefology—a space where we normalize all kinds of loss, whether it’s the death of a loved one or the unexpected curveballs life throws. Here, you’ll find real talk, relatable tools, and even a little humor to help you navigate your grief journey. Because grief isn’t just about sadness—it’s about learning how to live, love, and grow through it.

Where stigma ends and healing begins…..

  • "Grief is in two parts. The first is loss. The second is the remaking of life."

    Anne Roiphe

  • "If we do not attend to our grief, it will resurface later in more complex ways, demanding to be heard."
