Introducing Griefology Notes

Grief is a lot.

Sometimes the grief brain fog is so thick, and the to-do list is already so long that the last thing you feel like doing is to read a 300-page book just to understand what the hell is happening to you.

That’s not to say there isn’t a time and place for those books. There is so much validation, wisdom, and genuinely helpful information inside them. But maybe that’s simply not where you are right now. Maybe you only have a few minutes of attention to give. Maybe you want to learn more about grief without taking on one more big thing. And that’s really okay.

Part of Griefology’s mission is to make grief education and resources more accessible. Helpful information shouldn’t only be available to people who have the time, money, energy, the right insurance, or emotional capacity to work through an entire book, course, or workshop.

Griefology Notes is a mini podcast offering bite-sized grief education for limited bandwidth. In each 10–15 minute episode, we’ll explore a grief concept, model, theory, or experience in a way that feels clear, approachable, and relevant to real life.

We’ll talk about what grief actually is, the many forms it can take, why it doesn’t follow a neat timeline, and the ideas that can help us better understand life after loss. Each episode will also end with three reflection questions, giving you space to connect what you’ve learned to your own grief experience…if and when you feel ready.

Having language for what you’re carrying may not make the grief disappear, but it can make it feel a little less confusing and a lot less lonely.

Griefology Notes is coming soon to YouTube and Spotify.
